Will be hard to out-Trump Trump, but will certainly be interesting to see them try.

MichaelRosenYes I learned about 'politics' from Spitting Image at a young age - political parties, cabinet members etc. Can't remember who in media said it but if Spitting Image had been around, Brexit would not have happened, as it would have been called out mainstream for the nonsense it is.
Spitting image can't be any crazier than real life at the moment.

To watch the biting satire of the first series was incredible. It lost its way when that political satire got massively watered down and replaced by mostly mocking celebrities. The sketch I will always remember.......

It doesn't sound too promising that they're hoping to write the series in the US. Maybe the puppet caricatures will be even harsher than before but I fear the writing itself will be tamer. After all the world has changed & TV companies are terrified of offending their viewers now
