Downing Street appears to be pulling back from plans to tell large swathes of the over-50s they will have to shield after there was a major backlash.
They set the economy up to fail the way it did and created a whole generation of whiny brats. Put them in time out.

The government never back tracked on this. They were never considering it in the first place. Its purely media leaked crap which of course the media spins it around to make the government look bad?! Irresponsible misleading uk media.

This also applies to over 70s-many of whom are fit as fiddles...Better to enjoy your last hour on earth fulfilled and happy than live a life of misery trying to be 'safe'.
