The Duke and Duchess joined Malala Yousafzai for a chat about the impact of the pandemic on girls' access to education.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have talked about their son Archie's first steps during lockdown in a virtual chat with Malala Yousafzai.

Meghan revealed that the coronavirus pandemic had provided"a lot of good family time" for the Sussexes, with Harry adding:"We were both there for Archie's first steps, his first run, his first fall, everything." Meghan said:"It's just fantastic and in so many ways we are fortunate to have this time to watch him grow. In the absence of COVID, we would be travelling and working more externally and we'd have missed a lot of those moments."Harry and Meghan talked to the 2014 Nobel Peace Prize winner about the disproportionate impact the COVID-19 outbreak has had on girls and their education, as well as about its impact on their family.

She was treated in the UK and went on to graduate from the University of Oxford earlier this year, since when she has continued to campaign for girls' access to education.

Why wouldn't they be there, he wasn't forced to drive a van for Amazon, she wasn't stacking shelves they were .sat in their 10 million pound mansion making video sermons to the plebs.

Sorry if this comes as a major shock, but most parents probably are.

Better than working

Neither of you have a job...

You would have been there anyway neither of you do any realwork and don't have to worry about money! Ffs

Why would lock down have made the slightest difference?

It also meant a million people lost their jobs and 42k+ lost their lives. But thank God you got to see your babys first steps. Something most parents who take care of their own baby get to see. I can only assume lock prevented your servants from taking care of your child.

Family time is so precious. Cherish it.

Good for them. But, honestly, who gives a shit? Does Sky get a cut from their Netflix deal, is there some nepotism here should know about, or why does the Twitter account insist on providing the public with these non-news stories on these 'private' citizens...daily?

Dont care, tell Americans thats where you live , where you went to get out of media spotlight so dissappear , You abandoned royal life and british people , but still want to use royal connections to make cash dont work that way ,you left live happily ever after quietly

Yawn

Don't care, not interested, good for them. The end.

Really. Never mind.

Shouldn’t they have been there anyway? Not exactly something to be proud of saying.

Gosh. Wonder what 'normal' parents do then?

I thought these two f**kers wanted zero publicity? Every time I look up one of them is in the media.

Awww, thats cute. Lockdown meant that 130million more people in the world have been forced into poverty, but I'm glad you got to see him walk. 😍

Does he really wear a tie at home? He really hasn’t adjusted to American culture

Thought they wanted privacy and the press to stay out of their personal lives ?

It's not as if they'd miss it whilst they were at work , is it?

Even if there were no lockdowns where would they be? Doing voice-overs for Disney?

Were they able to get furlough?

Get a fucking grip

Lucky you lockdown meant deppression anziety poverty suicide abuse for many people.

What has lockdown got to do with that?

I thought these two wanted privacy, they never shut up!! 🙉🤐

no walking, no galloping across the Atlantic to profit from his birth title mean

He was probably trying to run away from the 'wokeness'

Where else would they be? Not like they work 🙄

Just go away .....

Okay so you are saying that you leave your son with who

What about the people who had to work during lockdown to keep people safe, healthy, fed.

I'd be ashamed to say it was due to the lockdown.

I like Harry and Megan but lockdown meant someone I love being diagnosed with cancer. In hospital with no visitors and cancer reviews over the phone. The NHS being shut also meant no help in this persons dying hours! Guess lockdown experiences are different for everyone eh?!

Clearly an escape attempt.

Working out of choice,

There plans for a peaceful life isn’t going to plan clearly.

Did they ask Malala any questions about her story or was it all about Qween Megs !

This isnt news and no one is bothered
