Liverpool kicks off its Chinese New Year celebrations today with festivities taking place all weekend long. To celebrate the Year of the Dragon, the city will host jaw-dropping projection shows, fire-breathing dragons and a huge range of colourful performances from local artists and communities. The celebrations will accumulate in Great George Square on Sunday between 11am - 5pm where guests can expect parades, firecracker displays, martial arts , food, drink and dancing.
