Melkamu Frauendorf has thanked Liverpool players and staff in an emotional message after leaving the club as a free agent.
Frauendorf, who has represented Germany at youth level, began his Reds journey under Marc Bridge-Wilkinson in the under-16s before progressing to the under-21s. He made his Liverpool debut during the FA Cup third-round tie against Shrewsbury Town in 2022 and was handed his first-ever start 10 months later in the Carabao Cup against Derby County.
