Liverpool fans share worrying theory over Europa League fate

Liverpool supporters believe there is a pattern emerging with this season's Europa League - something that would be a potential blow for the Reds hoping to win the trophy in Dublin next May.

Last night the Spanish club played host to Arsenal in the Champions League at their Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, losing 2-1 courtesy of goals from Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus. For starters, Sevilla are the Europa League's most successful team in history. They have claimed seven titles during its 52-year existence, four more than closest challengers Juventus, Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and of course the Reds.
