A number of police scenes are in place across Greater Manchester this morning after three men were arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences.
Assistant Chief Constable Rob Potts, who holds responsibility for counter terrorism policing in the North West, said there was not believed to be 'any wider threat' following the arrests. "Although we can’t go into specific details of the investigation at this stage, I want to reassure members of the public that we do not currently believe there to be any wider threat linked to today’s activity. Further detail will be released where appropriate as the investigation progresses."This is as well as the scene on Crankwood Road.One of the police scenes is in place on Crankwood Road in Abram.
