LIVE: Manhunt underway after police flood residential street following shooting

Police flooded a residential street in Bolton after a shooting in the early hours of this morning with a manhunt now underway.

A scene was erected and remains in place with detectives and forensics in attendance. Officers have remained at the scene throughout the day amid the ongoing investigations.Police were called to the scene of the shooting at around 12am today.this afternoon: "When you hear of an incident like this, it is always extremely concerning and worrying for local residents.

Officers attended and following enquiries overnight have confirmed a firearms discharge did take place. A scene remains whilst an investigation continues.CSI have also been at the scene amid ongoing investigations.
