Live as police cordon off Leeds street after gun fired at house

A street in Leeds has been shut off with crime scene tape after a gun was fired at a property in the area. West Yorkshire Police are conducting a serious investigation after a gun was shot several times at a Leeds home. Police were called to the scene at 11.26pm on Wednesday, July 14. Officers and forensic specialists remain at the scene this afternoon while enquiries continue.. The incident earlier this week in Greenside saw a gun fired at the window of a flat. Anyone who witnessed either incident is being asked to come forward as soon as possible.

"No-one was in the address at the time. A scene has been put in place to undergo forensic examination and specialist searches. "Detectives from West Yorkshire Police Firearms Prevent and Investigations Team are leading the investigation. Enquiries are being carried out to establish if there is any link to the incident in Greenside, Pudsey, on Tuesday night where a gun was fired at the window of a flat."Related Articles
