The actress has two great-grandmothers who have been touched by cancer, and has also lost three grandparents to the illness. Chas recently had a double mastectomy after being diagnosed with breast cancer ‘Awareness is very important and I do have an elected mammogram every year for my peace of mind, but not having the test is my choice’, she explained. ‘I don’t want to be that person that lives with that for the rest of my life.
