Lisa Armstrong escapes to Portugal just 24 hours after being left 'deeply sad' by ex-husband Ant...

Lisa Armstrong fled to Portugal on Wednesday, after hearing ex-husband Ant McPartlin has become a dad for the first time.

The makeup artist quickly fled the country just 24 hours after Ant joyfully announced his wife Anne-Marie, 46, had given birth to their first child Wilder Patrick 'I love that idea, but I'm afraid it's not true. Lisa and I would love to have kids. We're trying. It's tougher than you think when you get a bit older.

It was the baby she had longed to have with Ant and friends said she feels 'very wronged' by him after she battled to save him from his demons for some years. Ant also appeared to snub his beloved pet dog Hurley, whom he shares with Lisa, in his new tattoo paying homage to his family, after revealing the ink for the first time on Tuesday

The couple were childless when they filed for divorce in 2018 after 11 years of marriage. Ant and Anne-Marie tied the knot in 2021.Ant shared a Instagram snap sweetly cradling his baby boy, revealing he'd been born earlier that day on Tuesday, writing: 'Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy's a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad's a mess!' he captioned the snap.

'When they found out last year, they were absolutely delighted, but obviously kept the news quiet for as long as possible.
