Line of Duty star Martin Compston has revealed he had a deal with actors Vicky McClure, Adrian Dunbar and the show’s creator Jed Mercurio to get tattoos if viewing figures surpassed 12million.
The picture saw Steve and his AC-12 partner Kate Fleming, played by Vicky McClure, in police stab-proof vests while they stood in front of a white van.As Martin, who recently shocked fans as they discovered his real accent, shared the image with his 475,000 Instagram fans he celebrated the season finale’s success.
Instagram Sharing his feelings over the build up to the big air date, the actor added: “Felt many emotions last few days from the excitement and anxiety of the hype to the relief that it’s over. He said: “Finally myself, Vicky, Adrian and Jed made an agreement on the inconceivable and ridiculous scenario we ever got twelve million viewers we would get ‘AC12million’ tattoos.”
