Lily James’ friends have slammed the “slut-shaming” and abuse she received following the Dominic West scandal.
Lily faced a wave of abuse following the release of the pictures of her with Dominic, who is married to Catherine FitzGerald. It’s understood Lily’s confidence has been “dented” by the backlash and is even said to have driven her out of her north London home.“It’s taking a big toll on her,” they said. “This is a straightforward case of double standards – a woman getting the backlash, while the man, despite being married, isn’t under anywhere near the same amount of scrutiny.”
