Treatment and transplants for some postponed as hospitals are turned over to treat virus

Since the coronavirus outbreak hit Italy, Francesca Masi has felt her life has been hanging by a thread. She was diagnosed with myelofibrosis, a rare bone marrow cancer, in 2016 and was due to have a transplant this month, but now fears it will be postponed as the country deals with the pandemic.

Thoughts with these brave women ❤. Fingers crossed they can proceed with treatment very soon. Can only imagine how stressful it must be for them. I have a friend in a similar predicament. Just awful.

I hope she gets better. Does anyone else think she looks like Maz Kanata from Star Wars
