Kelly is hoping to be one of the three goalkeepers to make the cut for the finals in Germany this summer

Stuart Kettlewell believes landmark-reaching Liam Kelly has done enough to book his place in Steve Clarke ’s Scotland squad for Euro 2024 .

Kettlewell reckons Kelly showed every side of his game at Aberdeen, keeping the ball out of the goal and also as a leader, especially when the team went down to 10 men after Jack Vale’s red card. Kettlewell stated: “It is a great landmark and it is continuous as well. I don’t think there has been a break in that and sometimes that might not be the case with goalkeepers.

“Up until that point, I was speaking to our assistant Stephen Frail and we were content. There were two, three or four twists we could have injected to our team to give us a bit more pace and energy and we never got to that point. We didn’t get the opportunity to get to that point.
