The possibility of an Oasis reunion, which failed to materialise last week in Manchester, is now considered a strong bet as Liam Gallagher returns to the city for two more performances on Thursday and Friday .
Rumours of a potential reconciliation between the brothers reached a crescendo last week when Noel was seen in Manchester on the eve of the first of Liam's shows at the newly-opened Co-op Live arena. However, despite reserving a VIP seat for the 57-year-old - a gesture Liam makes at every performance - Noel did not attend.Now, according to analysis by Gambling.com, the odds of a reunion have been cut to an odds-on 4/6 ahead of Liam's upcoming gigs, indicating a 60% probability.
Liam appeared to dismiss the possibility of an Oasis reunion earlier in the week, despite some holding out hope for specific dates. He made his stance clear on social media platform X : "So these so called dates Oasis held for a comeback are on a Monday Tuesday and Wednesday leave it out you s****bubbles LG x."
Another possible but less likely onstage partner could be Oasis' elusive former bassist Paul 'Guigsy' McGuigan, who he claims stands a chance at 3/1.
