ProjectKearsley It had a strong opposition under Mr Corbyn

The main thing wrong with the government just now is their lily livered inactivity when it comes to quelling the lawlessness on our streets. It seems unlikely that Labour will give a rats ass about that so I'm not sure we can entrust labour with any 'holding to account'.

Party politics is how we got into this mess, parties can rely on the loyalty of their base to get away with doing fuck all, they can offer manifestos that reflect the idiology of their core and actually just do whatever they please when in power.

At this rate the country may be better of with a strong Tory opposition, though they'd probably screw that up too.

Spot on. I’d say the same regardless of which side was in power. Without a strong opposition it’s left to the press to step in and their track record isn’t exactly anything to be proud of.

Why on earth are you still a Tory ? Qualifications seem to be viciousness, heartlessness, shamelessness, an ability to lie when the truth would serve far better;. most Tories are vile bastards. I do hope that you are one of the decent ones, but is so, you are in a small minority.

Haha the beautiful right wing AND their Dream to instrumentalise everything.

How do you deal with a gvmt and a PM that constantly lies and refuses to be held accountable for all their mistakes? They fuck things up then claim they've done a great job. I'm sure Johnson looks at Trump and thinks 'Hmm. I like his style. I could learn something from this guy'.

Labour should sign MarcusRashford...

Nah. It’s got a 22 year old footballer. He is King!

Editor’s Letter: Dominic Raab and the government look out of touch – a dangerous thing in politicsIt’s fair for politicians to get caught unawares over internet memes or soap twists – but this is something far different, writes Andrew Woodcock The guy's forehead is out of touch with rest of his body. Dominic Raab and the government of touch– a dangerous thing in politics look out Well they’re totally in touch with 50+ voters since they’re all that age anyway but the Tories fail to remember a new generation is coming and we’re more progressive then ever and if they want to survive they’ll have to win younger votes because Labour is all we’ll vote

If Labour wants to be taken seriously it needs a full policy review | Andrew GriceTo persuade voters the party has changed, Keir Starmer will also need his shadow cabinet to share the heavy lifting, writes Andrew Grice People take the tories seriously, yet they lie and deceive, claim they are doing a great job despite the evidence to the contrary, are seemingly 'proud' of their response to a pandemic that has killed 10's of 1000's of people and have a PM known for misogyny and racist comments. The tories have decimated this country for 10 years with cuts, austerity and wasted years and £trillions on Brexit. Has a much higher rate of racism and last year put up a statue to one of their MPs a well-known anti-semite. They've also given us the highest Covid-19 death rate. Hello How are you?
