Let UK refugees apply for asylum abroad, campaigners urge

Campaigners have called on ministers to allow refugees to “apply safely” for asylum from outside the UK after two boats carrying 40 people were intercepted off the Kent coast.

They are not refugees but here for economic reasons. Even the Lebanon has admitted that most Syrian 'refugees' now refuse to go back to Syria because they'll lose out financially. Time to start mass deportations of illegals and failed asylum seekers.

I thought you are supposed to seek asylum on the first country you come to. How about the second at least? Obviously their goal is to get to the uk. We are seen as a soft target.☹️

1. They're not U.K refugees, they're not from the U.K. 2. Why are we not asking the more important question: Why are they not applying for asylum in the great and wonderful E.U?

And be rejected? They make the trip to make us accept them

This is a U.K problem not something the rest of Europe should be 100 percent responsible to handle. France has had to handle the problems that millions of migrants want to move to the U.K , it’s time for London to take a share of the burden if Britain wants to be out of the EU

Good idea. We don't have to pay their costs when we refuse them because many of them are liars.

Funny how these so called refugees have money for illegal immigration buying see worthy boats from willing French sellers passing through several safe countries throwing there identitys away on route so know ones who they are, the Uk's just seen as a soft touch 🙄

Deport all.

I always find it strange that if the EU is such a wonderful place why there are no boats going to the other way with migrants desperately attempting to return to France. Has anyone heard of a single instance of someone trying to board a truck in Dover to get to Calais?

The French carefully attenuate just how many 'refugees' they let cross the channel depending on their mood. They have threated to 'flood' the country in the case of a no-deal Brexit. Great that the French use humans as cannon fodder, but at least we know what we are dealing with.

Almost all asylum seekers are housed in the poorest parts of the North of England. If these London-based campaigners want more people, it's time we change a system which places more asylum seekers in Middlesbrough than the entire South-East of England.
