It’s immoral to delay curbs on dangerous meals and blame the cost of living crisis, says Sarah Boseley, former health editor of the Guardian

on its causes and effects in 2007 laid out what every investigation since has confirmed, that changes are needed to our whole food environment. But no government has done enough. Too many voluntary agreements have been made with the food industry. Too few restrictions on sales and promotions have been enforced. One obesity strategy after another has failed to deliver.

Hot take but maybe a former obese person knows what exactly goes into being obese? And knows where the health pointers lay? And maybe - get this - he knows policing eating habits isn't the answer? Maybe it causes eating disorders, but what do I know? Pray for the Brits y'all

If it's about allowing people to make unbiased choices on food, why do we have any advertising of or special offers on junk food?

He's not forgotten. He simply doesn't care about the 'lower orders'. We are meaningless to him.
