Epidemiologists are unclear if schools’ reopening is linked to increased coronavirus cases

A rapid investigation into the Covid-19 outbreak in Leicester by Public Health England has revealed it has been driven by increased infections in the under-19s and people of working age, while the average age of those infected is around 40.

So nothing to do with those thousands of protesters the other week then? Total coincidence? Ok I understand.

Where is outcry from ordinary people leave alone local authorities? It's every citizen's right to have data about where the virus is, how many tested in their area, how many tested positive, how many hospitalized, how many died. IT'S OUR HUMAN RIGHT! leicester independentsage

Nothing to do with the riots you promoted, nothing at all. Just kids and folks who NEED to work. Lucky only 2% of the population believe anything you lot say.. you’re not the voice of the country.

This article is full of actual lies. Says ethnic makeup of new infections is “broadly” representative of demographics. Lie. 67% of new infections (since June 18) are BAME - 49% of the population is BAME. So it’s over a third above the population level.

But its perfectly safe to go back to work and school, right?

Nowt to do with that protest a few weeks back then

The article actually says: 'it has been driven by increased infections in the under-19s and people of working age' Under-19s and people of working age form over 80% of the population, so I'm not sure a finding that they are driving infections is really of much use

Damn kids

Cleverly worded. “Under 19s” (so, including children who have been sent back to school, but let’s just write “19” so people will immediately picture feckless teens) and “workers” (who are, of course, over 19). Never mind that the average age of infection is actually 40.

bullshit, its the ignorant pricks who forced their staff into work in sweatshops paying a couple of quid an hour while the country was on loackdown. these people dont give a toss what you tell them, they're a law unto-themselves. You reap what you sow. With any luck.

How many of them have died?

From what I’ve seen, as someone who worked throughout the lockdown, lots of young people haven’t taken this seriously at all. They’re the ones who have ignored lockdown & social distancing - & won’t wear masks on the trains!

Under 19s and workers ? A combination unique to the area then ! (Not!)

How many U 19s have died - yes fuck all - its all a hoax

They don’t even know why?Completely failure in track and trace.

Please be aware that daily toll included in this article reoeats yesterday’s figures.

No it isn’t. It is due to overcrowded housing and certain groups congregating when they shouldn’t have been. Tell the fucking truth.

Time to checkout the textile sweatshop bosses in and around Leicester and Bradford.

Those young people that apparently can’t get it 😱
