Piroe was poor against Blackburn Rovers and drops to the bench unsurprisingly. Today’s referee against Middlesbrough is Tony Harrington and he is assisted by Mark Scholes, Paul Hodskinson and Andrew Kitchwen . The last time these two sides met on Teesside was in February 2020, when a Mateusz Klich strike on the stroke of half-time secured a 1-0 win.
