Jack Jenkins opens up on loan moves amid bizarre debut Leeds United midfielder Jack Jenkins became the latest Whites player to secure a loan move this season, when he agreed a switch to non-league Scunthorpe United until January last week.
Following this though, the Irons Twitter account posted that the referee had in fact abandoned the game, rather than blown for full-time, as five minutes of added-on time remained.Prior to this bizarre outing, Jenkins had opened up on his previous loan move to Salford City, where he struggled with injuries.
The right-back only saw nine minutes of regular time after replacing Luke Ayling in the 81st minute of the contest, but he managed to give a good account of himself in front of the expectant Elland Road crowd. He was forced into rearguard action shortly after stepping into the contest and showcased his pace in possession to get forward down the flank on a couple of occasions before the referee brought a frustrating contest to a close.
