Leeds Rhinos know where last week’s Super League clash got away for them and can put things right in Friday’s knockout rematch, according to hooker Andy Ackers.

St Helens will return to AMT Headingley for a sixth round Betfred Challenge Cup tie exactly a week after fighting back from 8-0 down to secure an 18-8 win which left them third in the league table. It ended Rhinos’ two-match winning run, but Ackers insisted Leeds took positives from their performance and are capable of making amends in two days’ time.

“In any game you get errors, you wouldn’t be human if you didn’t make mistakes, but it is about learning from them and knowing where you are in the game. It is all about game-management, but we will look at that and try to get better in our execution. “We’re still confident, there were large parts of game when we were really, really good.
