The Met Office yellow warning for snow and ice lasts until 6am on Sunday morning, March 12. The yellow warning is covering most of West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire and North Yorkshire - including Leeds.
Forecasters have warned the snow could cause more disruption. It follows heavy snow throughout the latter part of the week and last night. The Met Office warns to expect: In Leeds, however, it's more likely residents will be seeing rain than snow. Heavy rain is set to start coming down from 7pm on Saturday that lasts throughout the night and into the hours of Sunday morning.
That's lightening up from about 1am through 3am, before drying up completely. In the last few hours of the snow and ice warning Leeds is currently forecast as very unlikely to see snow after that. Temperatures are gradually warming up throughout the day and hitting 12 degrees by 12pm. There's a very low chance of precipitation after that with some sun around midday.
