Leeds United will still have a strong belief they can secure automatic promotion to the Premier League.
The final day of the Championship season is on May 4, and between now and then Leeds and their rivals have several important fixtures that will determine the outcome of the automatic promotion race. Leeds Live takes a look at the run-ins for Leeds, Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton over the next couple of weeks.
Leeds United United have just three fixtures remaining this season, with two of them coming away from home. Next up is an away trip to Middlesbrough, as Farke and Co. look to get a response following the defeat to Blackburn. That will be followed by an away trip to FA Cup semi-finalists Coventry City in a rearranged fixture in midweek. That will be the build-up to the season finale at home to Huddersfield Town on the final day of the season.Southampton Southampton have enjoyed a three-game winning run that has seen the Saints return to the fold in the automatic promotion race. There are still four more league fixtures for Russell Martin's team, starting with an away trip to Cardiff City this weekend.
