The presenter, 35, who took over the first winter version of the show from host, revealed that the luxury house the contestants stay in is pretty pungent once all the Islanders get in there.
She explained to The Times: ‘The Love island villa smells. That’s the one thing the audience at home never see. ‘When you walk into a house with that many men and only two or three toilets, the smell of fake tan, the flatulence, the perfumes and aftershaves all together is like this eclectic medley.’Who knew that the Love Island villa was seemingly a lot less glamorous than it appears on TV?
Laura, who is in a relationship with Love Island voiceover Iain Stirling, was a massive fan of the show before she landed the presenting gig.She also admitted that she would love to have the confidence of the contestants who are filmed in swimwear for most of the day. Laura admitted: ‘I’m jealous of the Love Island girls. I wish I was that confident. I’m inspired by their body positivity, to walk around the villa and not give a s**t.The Love Island villa may look glam but it smells grim is currently planned to go ahead in 2021A spokesperson confirmed in June that the winter series has also been postponed, saying: ‘Love Island UK will return bigger and better than ever with an extended run in summer 2021.
