Emergency services were called Arbories Memorial Sports Ground in Padiham after a disturbance on Saturday afternoon which involved a 'number of people fighting'. Lancashire Police said during the incident a man in his 50s was 'knocked to the ground and briefly lost consciousness'.
In a statement, a force spokesperson said: "Police were called at shortly after 4.30pm to a disturbance at the Arbories Memorial Ground, Well Street, Padiham where a number of people were fighting. During the fight one man, aged in his 50s, was knocked to the ground and briefly lost consciousness.
