The new statute would place a legal duty on councils to provide victims and their children with a secure home.

"This bill will help us do just that and represents a true step-change in our approach."

Chief executive Sandra Horley said:"Domestic abuse is the biggest issue affecting women and children in this country today. "But the criminal justice system is just one part of the puzzle when it comes to addressing domestic abuse. "We also hope that the bill will incorporate the suggestions made by MPs and peers and will address the welfare system so it meets the needs of survivors, whilst giving priority access to housing and funding for women with insecure immigration status.

Theresa May's attempt excuse domestic violence is evil. 'My son was killed by his girlfriend - men must tell of domestic abuse too'

Theresa May should be ashamed of herself for trying to reverse the facts about domestic violence. 'Mother jailed for killing two daughters at women's refuge'

Add or build a legacy!

Sickening sexist policy promoted by Theresa May. How is covering a man with acid acceptable?

Theresa May is a disgrace to Parliament. 'Male domestic abuse victim: men are scared to come forward'

Theresa May is a vile sexist.

So it takes until now then. Physical, emotional, sexual etc abuse was never acceptable anyway. Did the woman never have a look at safeguarding policy!!!!!!!

An attempt to legalize domestic violence when women do it (women perpetrate about half of domestic violence, and male victims routinely get punished). It is the most sustained attack on victims of domestic abuse ever. It is sexist, illegal (contrary to Equality Act 2010) & evil.

Legacy of excrement**

The father of modern computing: Alan Turing's legacyPersonal life and substantial works of face of new £50 note have only recently been properly appreciated who is he why on the 50?... I havent had one in years anyway and never saw a computer until 1994 but we had color photos at least then! Oh and i meant i haven had a 50 not a computer... i have one right now im not on mobile believe it or not About time he got some of the credit he deserved. HumanHeadline I think it's apt that the note is a 50. A lot of his war work was probably classified for 50 years before anyone knew much about it.
