Totally agree that something needs to be done to curb unconditional offers but this, without major overhaul of systems and calendars, seems unachievable!

So Labour want there to be about 4 weeks between getting results and beginning university, during which time students need to: Apply for universities, choose your university, apply for accommodation, apply for student loans, plan the move. And universities will need to go through
