A leaked dossier used by Jeremy Corbyn as proof the Tories want to sell off the NHS have been linked to a Russian disinformation campaign on Reddit.
The Labour Party have refused to discuss where they got documents they presented at a press conference in November. Corbyn used the leaked documents as evidence the Government was at an advanced stage of negotiations with the US to open the NHS to American pharmaceutical companies in a post-Brexit trade deal.Reddit has since said it believes the documents were leaked as ‘part of a campaign that has been reported as originating from Russia.’
Culture Secretary Nicky Morgan said it was ‘extremely serious’ leaked could be linked to Moscow and said her office is ‘looking for and monitoring’ interference in the UK’s elections. , assuming the documents are legitimate, they show that Health Secretary Matt Hancock’s claim the health service is ‘not up for discussion’ was false.
