What should be scrapped is the BBC, just have PBS channel for news and docs and let the rest be paid by advertising so we can just switch off!
They produce the same ratings-friendly crap as other TV networks. I'm paying more for a service I barely use than I pay for Amazon Prime. Abolish the licence fee altogether.
Tv licence is so outdated. Who wants public - meaning political TV? We rather pay Netflix subscription and choose the independent media.
