Candidates criticised for endorsing group that describes Woman’s Place UK as ‘trans-exclusionist hate group’

Let’s be clear. The groups mentioned actively campaign to keep all trans women out of women’s spaces. Behind that lies their belief that trans women aren’t actually women. Identity denial is the very much transphobia. Self-determination of one’s gender is a basic human right.

is islamophobic🖕🏿

squaire67_d If you want proof of the transphobic foundations of ‘Women’s Place UK’ you need to look no further than the event they were founded at!... cc. rowenamason

What row, everyone in Labour is agreed on the need to support trans people from the bigotry they face. Evidenced even here on this thread.

Trans rights? So they need more rights than human rights? Are they suggesting they are not human because a fair few of my Trans friends would find that very rude (and one who would actually like it)

I pray for the world to be helped father help us now amen

Keir Starmer calls for end to 'scandal' of spiralling student debtLabour leadership frontrunner would keep party’s policy of scrapping tuition fees Good stuff. Needs to presented with a rebalancing of further education. FE and vocational routes have been needlessly trashed in favour of increasing the numbers attending university. Must change. Hey, I’ve got a great idea on how to do it! Don’t charge students anything, but after graduation, charge them an extra, say, 9% tax on earnings over £25k, so they can contribute to their own education. If they don’t earn a high enough salary, they don’t get charged :-) Great headline catching plan BUT what about existing debt. What? Oh! Too difficult you say.
