Labour anti-Semitism claims prompt dismay in party

Labour's disputes team is supposed to operate independently from the party's political structures, including the leader's office.

Eight former officials who worked in the team and dealt with anti-Semitism cases claimed to the BBC that:Officials brought in by the party's general secretary, Jennie Formby,"overruled" some of their disciplinary decisions and"downgraded" punishments to a"slap on the wrist" On one occasion, Mr Corbyn's office ordered batches of anti-Semitism complaints to be brought to his Commons office for processing by his aides

Maybe he should reform the inadequate rules and regulations inherited from Mr Miliband. Or is it too much of a contradiction, to point out another labour leader, of jewish decent, was also trapped within the same system. But has not been accused of antisemitism due to this.

It needs strong positive leadership to sort this out,, so that's not going to happen is it !

Just have to read the comments here to see the level of denial within the party. Read em, they are worthy of a cult. The vicious attacks from my party on those who spoke to Panorama are worthy of the church of Scientology.

It's the constant lies repeated by a broken BBC that dismays. The filmed crooked actions of Joan Ryan. Constant allegations but no real evidence. They dismay. As do the actions of known Israeli spies who sow discord with impunity, both here and in the USA. They dismay.

As Corbyn is not the real leader of the Momentum/ Labour Party. He has no power to do anything about the ever increasing Semitic hatred within its officials. He is a mere puppet. Labour has been taken over by the bully boys of Momentum. It was once a great people’s party.

Please explain why the BBC removed bits of e-mails to alter the context to fit the 'Labour is antisemitic' narrative of the programme.

Too much out of proportion drumming up of anti semitism.Why don't you talk of the prevalent hate against other religions,races,geographical units ,colours, ethnicities etc too.Why,are some more' equal than others'?
