Corbyn out
He seems to be taking even less account of his members' wishes than TM is of hers.
JonathanPlaid Absolutely shameful.
So PlasticStalin jeremycorbyn just ignored the UKLabour conference & policy? Quelle surprise...
So sad .... Labour Party all at sea, like the Tories
No support for putting THIS deal to the people as it's a dead duck. Tweet by Barry Gardiner: We already said that if parliament can take back control and agree on a credible deal then it should be put to a confirmatory vote of the people. Happy now?
Sounds like they are just abandoning the idea of holding a referendum on May's deal, not on holding a referendum on 'something'. This is kind of good news, no?
The hokey cokey plan...
What the actual fuck
UKLabour jeremycorbyn U lads need to wake up. Ur base has left you behind & you need to catch up rapidly. Push the 2nd referendum. You’ll get a bounce from it for another 10 yrs. if not... the Lib dems & Scots will benefit and Labour will lose. OxfordDiplomat Femi_Sorry
Remember all the nistas suddenly appearing on your timeline when Corbyn 'supported' the 2nd ref, telling you how 'it was always party policy, simples'? Apparently, they all forgot to mention it was meant to last for 15 minutes. Innocent oversight.
Why not two questions ? 1) Are you still sure, UK should leave the EU ? 2). If yes, with what deal, May's deal or no deal ?
This is lies and misleading, they said her deal should go to public referendum if it passed MP's it didn't. They've stuck to what they said. They also haven't ruled out a referendum, just that Mays deal shouldn't be on it.
I can't see the ERG supporting any versions of Brexit acceptable to JC & his team. Wouldn't it be ironic if May was the one to put this back to the people instead of labour thereby ensuring a Conservative victory at the next GE even if there is 'No brexit'
Snakes.
Labour leadership abandons policy agreed at conference. So much for listening to members. Only when it suits eh Jeremy?
Corbyns Labour party even more unstable than the Tories and look how bad May is handling things! The labour Party missed a trick not substituting Corbyn with someone less indecisive and clear on his/her beliefs. Or was it all just a ruse so not to pick up the poison chalice?
Never vote for them again after this. Never vote tory. What a shit country i live in
JmJohnpj Shockeroonie Corbyn of Assisi has been telling porkies again
Corbyn is pro brexit, always has been. All the hints to the voters have just been ploys to try and boost their support in the polls by appearing to be populist. No surprise to me whatsoever that Labour is now pulling back
Slight contradiction now.
Corbyn believes he can negotiate a better Brexit. What are Labours values now and why are they trying to facilitate a Tory policy of leaving the EU?
Is there anybody, who understands this nonsense? A new referendum about membership in the EU has nothing to do with the deal on the table. Come to your senses, UK!
