A force spokesman said the man was taken to Torbay District Hospital with serious injuries, but later died. Both carriageways were closed following the incident, but the southbound carriageway has since reopened.

Another COVID related death?
If the man had headphones in his ears he could have been distracted by that and so not necessarily the fault of the ambulance driver regardless if blues and twos were in or not. Thoughts and prayers go out to the victims family and the ambulance crew!
Those big things flashing lights; sirens. guess easy to miss. I have known cyclist weaving dual lanes traffic with 6ft wide cycle track at the side of duel carriageway; unused. 7 police cars as above; the oblivious holding them up. suspect they didn't see them either.
Ambulance drivers really need to be more careful.

Lets hope he didn't have covid

Ambulances are dangerous. We should all go in to lockdown. Save lives!!!
