King Charles had a private meeting with David Beckham , just after he allegedly turned down an opportunity to see Prince Harry due to his busy schedule.
Speaking about the situation, Harry's spokesperson revealed: "In response to the many inquiries and continued speculation on whether or not the duke will meet with his father while in the UK this week, it, unfortunately, will not be possible due to His Majesty's full programme." During Harry's brief visit to the UK, it emerged that the King held a meeting with former pro-footballer David Beckham regarding his charitable foundation. The pair reportedly spent quality time together at King's Highgrove residence in Gloucestershire.
Over the years, David Beckham has rubbed shoulders with both Harry and the King on numerous occasions in the past, even serving as an Invictus Games ambassador.
