King Charles pays tribute to the Queen in touching Mother's Day post

The black and white photo chosen to mark the occasion shows the Queen beaming during a polo match her son was part of in 1985. King Charles is seen kissing his mother’s hand in a sweet photo released to mark Mother’s Day today. The photo, shared on the official royal family social media, is captioned: ‘Wishing all Mothers, and those who are missing their Mums today, a peaceful Mothering Sunday.

A man was arrested for criminal damage, with dramatic footage showing armed police yelling ‘Keep your hands on your head!’ The King was recently diagnosed with cancer after being admitted to hospital for a separate issue regarding an enlarged prostate. The type of cancer has not been revealed to the public, but it was reportedly caught early and the King has been undergoing ‘regular treatments’ ever since.
