CHILDREN who don't return to class next month could receive less online teaching as schools will need double the staff in for classes that are social distancing, parents have been warned.
But there are now warnings that any year groups that do not return may not have the same level of remote teaching available to them from next month, theOfficial advice from the Department of Education says that class sizes in reopened schools should have a 15-pupil limit - half the usual size - to allow for social distancing.
Paul Whiteman, general secretary of the National Association of Headteachers, told the Telegraph that “splitting classes in order to reduce the risk of transmission requires twice the number of staff, leaving fewer teachers to support those other children still at home.”
This is such a lie!! Online resources for students are already in place by most schools for the vulnerable. You seem to think those in school will be taught a full curriculum - get a grip and stop making teachers out to be the villain in the Government pantomime
