The 39-year-old former rugby star is said to have died on Friday after a suspected drug overdose; he was found collapsed at home and taken to hospital where doctors were unable to resuscitate him.‘Kerry was told this afternoon that George suffered an overdose and was taken to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival,’ a family friend said.‘No one yet knows what he overdosed on or whether it was intentional or an accident. Kerry is heartbroken, he’s DJ’s dad and she loved him once.
He was arrested by police but charges were later dropped due to lack of evidence; Kerry had a restraining order out against him and it as thought he hadn’t seen his daughter in over a year.
