Kenosha shooter Kyle Rittenhouse called 'American patriot' by defense team

Kyle Rittenhouse shot and killed Black Lives Matter protesters Anthony Huber and Joseph Rosenbaum last month in Kenosha, Wisconsin protesters – calling him an ‘American patriot’.

‘The video was created to tell the American public the truth and to refute the lies about Kyle,’ Wood said in ato Newsweek. ‘The video was also intended to warn all who love freedom that we just be prepared to defend ourselves and our Constitution.’ Cellphone video shows Rittenhouse being chased down the street while another man hits him with a skateboard. He then shoots the man, who was later identified as Anthony Huber.John Pierce, another lawyer for Rittenhouse, claimed the mob was ‘relentlessly hunting him as prey,’ and called the teen a ‘shining symbol of the American fighting spirit’.

Rosenbaum was a convicted sex offender and Huber was a felon. Witnesses claiming both men were protesting peacefully at the time of their deaths.

Children shouldn’t have guns. There is no excuse or explanation.
