Kate Middleton 's favourite high-street store, Boden, has slashed the price of a 'slimming' wedding guest dress in a massive spring sale. The Duchess of Cambridge is known for her impeccable fashion sense, often opting for pieces from Alexander McQueen and Erdem, as well as high street favourites like M&S, Reiss and Boden.

The Thea dress is a stunner, fitted at the top with a contrasting waist panel that cascades into a gently gathered skirt that swishes as you move. It's cut to a universally flattering midi length, offering more coverage than a mini or knee-length dress, but still showing off a bit of leg for a fun, flirty look. You can also choose from nine different colours and prints including a poppy red leaf print, a multi-coloured paisley-style design and a simple block navy colour.

A third shopper wrote: "This is a beautifully designed and tailored dress, much more flattering on than in the brochure. If you're looking for effortless elegance, this is the dress for you. One tip though - be sure to put your make-up on after your dress, to avoid smudges round the neckline."
