Kate Garraway made her first red carpet appearance since her husband Derek Draper 's death as she attended The Variety Club Showbusiness Awards on Sunday.
The star put on a chic display in a light yellow suit and sparkly halterneck silver top as she posed with Ben, 49. Derek had attended few public events over the last few years. But he suffered a heart attack before Christmas and never recovered. Kate's past and present Good Morning Britain colleagues were also out in force to support her on a tragic day.
Ben and Susanna Reid were amongst the first to arrive followed by Piers Morgan and Charlotte Hawkins.
