KAMALA HARRIS and her husband Douglas Emhoff are set to move into the Number One Observatory Circle on Washington DC - but the Vice President's new home takes inspiration from members of the British Royal Family such as Queen Anne.

After the Number One Observatory Circle was built, it became the house for the chief of naval operations in 1929.The first Second Family to live at the residence was Walter and Joan Mondale, who only moved into the home in 1977.
