Justin Timberlake was arrested on the morning of Monday 17 June for driving while under the influence in Sag Harbor, Hamptons, after reportedly getting caught swerving and running a stop sign.
Law enforcement insiders told TMZ that the Sexy Back singer seemed "glassy-eyed" and commented that he reeked of alcohol. The Suffolk County District Attorney issued a statement later on Tuesday that said: "On June 18, 2024, Justin was arrested in Sag Harbor for Driving While Intoxicated. He will be arraigned in Sag Harbor Village Justice Court this morning. At this time, we have no further comment."He turned up at the courthouse donning a dark band tee under an unbuttoned short-sleeved black shirt, attempting to conceal his identity with a black baseball cap and dark sunglasses.
The impact of his arrest and upcoming court date on his world tour remains uncertain. Justin's last performance was on June 15 in Miami at the Kaseya Center.
