The Justice Secretary has denied playing politics with the wrongful convictions of subpostmasters despite blaming Westminster for the absence of Scots ­legislation to quash convictions. Angela Constance admitted her government could introduce emergency laws to end the misery for many falsely sentenced for stealing due to the Post Office’s dodgy Horizon IT system.
