Jurgen Klopp was speaking following Liverpool's 1-1 with Man City at Anfield

Jurgen Klopp couldn't resist putting Sky Sports reporter Patrick Davidson on the spot following Liverpool's draw with Manchester City at Anfield.

A brief VAR check ruled that Doku had taken the ball, so the on-field decision was allowed to stand. Such a controversial moment led to Klopp being asked by Davidson what he thought of the decision after Klopp was spotted pleading his case with referee Michael Oliver at full-time.READ MORE: Why VAR did not award a penalty for Doku's challenge on Mac Allister

Eventually, the German head coach did respond and said: "It was ! Maybe you can ask him, but our opinions aren’t important. Davidson joked whether Klopp wanted the microphone before the Liverpool boss continued: "Anywhere else on the pitch that is a 100% foul, and it’s a yellow card. He hits the ball, and only because his foot is up here, he kicks him. You can say yeah he hit the ball but if the ball is not there he kills him.
