Joker – the incels, the incitement, the ending: discuss with spoilers

Few movies in history have had such an extreme pre-release experience. It is almost unheard of for a mainstream Hollywood studio film to win the Venice film festival’s Golden Lion. And it is unheard of for Venice’s winner, usually an erudite art film, to inspire grotesque hate speech from fans on social media should anyone be the least bit critical.

Arkham is NOT Marvel lore. It was H. P. Lovecraft who invented this mythical town in Massachusetts.

It’s always frustrating when people who don’t actually get a film still get to review it. Misses several key points of the character’s development including the fact his medication being removed & his delusions increasing are key to his spiral & the affirmation of the crowds

Watched it today. Brilliant movie ! “BE KIND & BE CARING” is the core message of this movie, as far as I’m concerned.
