The oldest person in Britain has died at the age of 112.who died in Hampshire in May.Mr Reynolds said his aunt believed there was no secret to a long life and "enjoyed butter and cream and she scoffed at idea of dieting".She went to boarding school in Sussex and later worked as a cook at a hotel in Geneva.
She married Gilbert Hocquard, who shared her love of sailing and travelling. When he died in 1981, she moved to Lilliput, near Poole. Kind of not news but condolences to her family. Personally, at 57, I struggle to see any upside to making it past 60. Society and the environment is royally screwed and no one in power, with power, gives a damn.
Wow, speechless by all the nasty comments. To begin with, she died at home surrounded by family, many would put her in a care home because it’s more convenient. Of course that it would be news. What a beautiful age. Respect and compassion have gone out the window on twitter. Sad!
