Is anybody bothered about The Ickabog? There was a time when the surprise announcement of a new JK Rowling book for kids would have had Potterheads across the globe raising their Butterbeer in delight. What, then, to make of the comparatively muted response to news of a new Rowling yarn – a “political fairytale” about a monster called the Ickabog which is “said to eat children”.
Those few voices do not represent the trans people in general, they just shout louder and some media outlets give them a megaphone. Most comments on her feed show a strong support from feminists.
There is no such thing as transgender it is a delusion/insanity you are either male or female & you can't change that period!!

What an awful article in response to an act of kindness. JKR was accused of being not safe around children. As a children’s author how could she not object? And this is the nonsensical way The Telegraph report that interaction. Appalling bad journalism.

That’s hurtful thing to write when JKRowling is trying to help children get through lockdown. My daughter eagerly wakes up to read next chapters & see drawings and has been drawing too (which is good for mental health btw). She is to be applauded, not criticised. royalfamily
