Jenna Marbles appears to have quit Twitter a year to the day after she left YouTube., with their accounts no longer available to view.Julien, meanwhile, is still active on Instagram but has not addressed the move away from Twitter.The 34-year-old, who still has a following of more than 20million on the site, revealed her decision while apologising for past videos, including a previous use of blackface.
‘There’s a couple things people want me to address and apologise for, and I’m happy to do that,’ she said in a now-deleted video, before apologising to her fans.Adding she was ‘moving on’ from her channel, the star – real name Jenna Mourey – added ‘I don’t know if that’s forever, I don’t know how long it’s going to be.
‘I think now it’s hard for that content to exist at all because I think people watch it and don’t bother to look at when it was posted or care about what path I took to get to where I am.’
